P.A.W.S. adoptable pets are housed in foster homes rather than in a shelter.  To meet one of our pets, you can e-mail us at pawshancock@aol.com and we will schedule a private one-on-one meeting or you can come to one of our adoption events.  Our Matchmaker volunteers conduct adoptions from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm on the first and third Saturday of every month at the Tractor Supply Store, 1645 N. State Street, Greenfield, Indiana. 

We use a two-step adoption process. Potential adopters must first fill out our Adoption Application form.  If an adopter is approved to adopt one of our pets, he/she must sign our Adoption Agreement. 

We have a 15-day, money back guarantee on all of our adopted pets.  We want to give a pet and its new family two weeks to get to know each other.  If things just aren’t working out at the end of two weeks, bring the pet back to us and we will gladly refund the entire adoption fee.

We require 100% spay/neuter of all our adoptable pets.  The adoption fee for each pet includes:

• spay/neuter surgery
• current year’s vaccinations
• heartworm test for dogs
• FIV & Feline Leukemia test for cats
• Deworming and flea treatment
• 30 days of free pet health insurance coverage courtesy of ShelterCare
