Penny is a small, 3 year old Cocker Spaniel who loves to be loved! She loves having her face rubbed and getting cuddles. She's mellow and always has a good outlook on life. Her owners abandoned her at a kill sherter where she would have been euthanized if P.A.W.S. hadn't rescued her. Why? Because Penny had a severe case of heartworms and would have died if not treated.
P.A.W.S. was committed to giving Penny the lifesaving treatment and 4 months of care she needed to survive. The treatment cost was over $400.
