Volunteer of the Month

abf8a0_4c9beeea7e9e46fab0dbaadf6c4f0ad2~mv2.jpeg

Every month we recognize a volunteer who has truly gone the extra mile. These people exemplify what it means to be a volunteer for P.A.W.S

Tara Mauldin

Since joining P.A.W.S. in March 2026, Tara Mauldin has become a dedicated volunteer whose compassion for cats shines through in everything she does. Inspired to give back after adopting Natasha (formerly Marla) from P.A.W.S. following the loss of her beloved cat Harry, Tara spends her time caring for cats in the cattery, assisting at adoption events, and supporting fundraisers. She especially enjoys getting to know each cat's unique personality and helping shy or insecure cats feel safe and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes. Tara's kindness, enthusiasm, and commitment to animal welfare make her an invaluable part of the P.A.W.S. family.
