Get Involved

Bring an animal home and care for it while it waits for adoption. You choose the type of animal you are able to care for, and we'll do the rest!

Matchmakers for Adoption Events:

Help us walk dogs, groom cats, transport animals, and much more during our monthly adoption events.

Cat Caretakers:

Take care of cats or kittens at the Greenfield PetSmart, giving them everything they need before they are adopted!

Low Cost Spay and Neuter Programs:

Help us transport cats and kittens from the PAWS center to the spay/neuter clinic.

Sewing Circle Partners:

Help us make catnip toys for sale!  This is one of our biggest fundraisers! We also need help making pet beds and clothes to sell too!

Committee Members:

Have your ideas and voice heard! This gives you a chance to give back in a bigger way with a hand in planning and operations for P.A.W.S.

Fundraising Events & Festivals:

Join in on the fun at local Indiana festivals! We always need volunteers to

help set up, and operate the booth space.

-Hope Heritage Days in Hope, Indiana, is the weekend of September 22nd-24th, and we need volunteers to run our merchandise fundraising booth and tell people about P.A.W.S!  Click the Hope Heritage Days button to sign up!

-Riley Festival in Greenfield, Indiana, is the weekend of October 5th-8th, and we need volunteers to run our merchandise fundraising booth and tell people about P.A.W.S!  Click the Riley Festival button to sign up!

Non-Monetary Donations

If you would like to help P.A.W.S by donating other items there are plenty of opportunities to do so. The in-kind donations are any donations of value outside cash or check. For example food, or supplies needed for events. P.A.W.S also has an amazon and chewy wish list that you can purchase items off of.

Volunteer of the Month

Every month we recognize a volunteer who has truly gone the extra mile. These people exemplify what it means to be a volunteer for P.A.W.S

Megan K.

Megan’s love for animals is supported by her two sons and husband who know firsthand how much she loves animals. Her love for animals is so strong she was a vet tech for 10 years in the shelter world before she had children.

Despite living in different states, Megan and her husband have fostered animals for 14 years!

Over the last four years, Megan has been working as a SPED IA in an elementary school and started to foster and volunteer for PAWS in the Spring of 2022.
