Reunite Families

Donate Today

May 2025 - P.A.W.S. installed Hancock County's first 24-hour microchip station to help lost pets reunite with their families—any time, day or night. We want to install more stations across Hancock County and surrounding areas to keep even more pets safe. Please consider donating today to support this mission!

Glacier

Meet Glacier!  She is a curious, playful kitten who loves to explore and turn every day into a new adventure. Always on the move, Glacier enjoys investigating new spaces, tackling puzzle toys, and chasing anything that catches her eye. This little explorer is not only smart and energetic, but also friendly and affectionate—happy to share sweet purrs with anyone who stops by to say hello.

If you’re looking for a fun, engaging companion who will keep you smiling and fill your home with playful energy, Glacier is ready to be your new best friend.

Homeless Animal Aid

This is one of our largest, and most expensive programs. P.A.W.S. Organization saves the lives of hundreds of homeless pets each year.   P.A.W.S takes in abandoned and unwanted pets from a variety of sources, including other animal control shelters. Often the animals we take are in need of special veterinary care, nurturing or training before they can be adopted into new forever homes.

P.A.W.S. volunteers participate in multiple monthly adoption events at various locations. These adoption events happen in Greenfield at P.A.W.S during our Adoption Center Open Hours, at Tractor Supply, and at PetsMart.

Operation Fix-It Program

P.A.W.S. partners with a low cost spay/neuter clinic for cats & dogs on the third Tuesday of every month. To schedule an appointment for your pet, please click the button below.

SURRENDERING A PET

Animal Surrenders

If you need to surrender an animal, please complete an application for your animal below.  If you are wanting to surrender a dog, please note that you MUST show proof of current rabies vaccination before we will accept the dog.

Please note:  This is only an application and not an immediate acceptance.  We are unable to take every animal due to the availability of foster homes.  Once we have received your application, we will contact you to let you know if we will be able to take your animal.

VOLUNTEER

We are a foster based rescue, that operates with a completely volunteer staff. Whether you choose to share your time at an adoption event, or choose to foster one of our animals we appreciate your time and commitment to helping keep this organization thriving.

Love animals, but can't commit to fostering one? You could clean and play with the cats at PetSmart, assist at fundraising or adoption events, or join our sewing circle where we create items for purchase with all proceeds going to our shelter.
